Amara Resort is a lovely retreat in Sedona, tucked away by Oak Creek. The rooms are peaceful with a beautiful view, and the pool area is a highlight, perfect for relaxation. The service had its ups and downs, particularly with the front desk, but the overall experience was good. Dining was decent, though the menu could use some variety and pricing seemed high for what was offered.

The ambiance was perfect for self-care and relaxation, especially with the excellent spa services. However, be prepared for a bit of a hike back to your room, and I would recommend booking restaurant and spa reservations well in advance as spots can fill up quickly.
