Amara Resort is a lovely retreat in Sedona, tucked away by Oak Creek. The rooms are peaceful with a beautiful view, and the pool area is a highlight, perfect for relaxation. The service had its ups and downs, particularly with the front desk, but the overall experience was good. Dining was decent, though the menu could use some variety and pricing seemed high for what was offered.

The stunning views and outdoor areas, including fire pits, added to the ambiance. However, I found the mountain bike availability to be heavily misrepresented, which was quite frustrating. While the spa services were decent, they didn't meet my expectations based on what was advertised.

I had a wonderful experience at this secluded resort, away from the busy streets. The views of the Redrocks from the infinity pool were phenomenal. The ambiance was perfect for self-care and relaxation, especially with the excellent spa services. However, be prepared for a bit of a hike back to your room, and I would recommend booking restaurant and spa reservations well in advance as spots can fill up quickly.
Our stay at the Amara Resort & Spa was overall wonderful thanks to the fantastic staff and the serene atmosphere. The dining experience was a highlight, with great food that exceeded my expectations. However, the room service could improve as our room was not cleaned after the first night, which was a bit disappointing. While the valet service was prompt, it was a steep walk into town, which could be a challenge for some.
